Ultrasound-guided intravascular fetal transfusions are offered by the physicians at The Fetal Institute for different disorders associated with fetal anemia. These include Rh-sensitization, other alloimmune disorders, Parvovirus B-19 infection, microangiopathic hemolytic anemia and others. Philosophically, our physicians aim to perform the least number of procedures possible to achieve a good pregnancy outcome. The procedures are done in the Hospital in the main Operating Room, under maximum antiseptic technique.
Our group specializes in the assessment, counseling and management of patients with high-risk pregnancies in Florida.
